Good Eats & More: Summer Recipe
Today I am sharing with you one of my all time easy and most flavorful recipes. Years ago, I saw an episode of "TripleD" on the Food Network and they featured this sauce. I had to keep rewinding it to make sure I got all the ingredients. I have adapted it through the years to fit our taste and the recipes I use it for. It is so simple to make because you just through everything into the food processor. It's good on shrimp, steak, eggs, fish tacos and this family favorite! "Green sauce" is often requested in our house.
We joke around and say "This is so good it would make a flipflop tasty!"
I hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 bunch of fresh cilantro, cleaned
2-3 cloves of garlic (add more or less for garlic intensity)
1/2 tsp salt, to taste
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
1 Dash of Cumin
3/4 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup of water
2 Tablespoons of Red Wine Vinegar
Add everything to a food process and blend until you have a smooth sauce. Pour into a glass container, and place in the refrigerator until you are ready to use. When you are ready to use, give a gentle shake, and spoon onto whatever you desire.here...
