This painting was inspired by a photo I recently captured  on an early morning walk with my husband when we were vacationing on beautiful Fripp Island. There are so many layers in this painting. The spartina growing in all different directions, a little creek meandering through the tall grasses and the beautiful oaks and palmettos in the background. I love with each glance the depth each layer brings and draws your eye into.
